Symphony of Hope: Mangaluru Set to Host a Grand Musical Evening for Children Battling Cancer - Tickets Sold out!!

Mangaluru, August 20, 2026: Mangaluru is all set to witness Symphony of Hope, a grand musical and performing arts event bringing together talented artists for an evening dedicated to music, compassion and a meaningful cause.

The event will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Father Muller Convention Centre, Mangaluru.

Music with a Mission

Symphony of Hope is more than a concert. It is a concert for a cause, with the proceeds dedicated to supporting children battling cancer.

The initiative brings together artists and performers with a shared objective—to use the power of music and the performing arts to create awareness, extend support and bring hope to children and families facing the challenges of cancer.

Over 200 Artists on One Stage

The event promises to be a spectacular celebration of both Indian and Western musical traditions, featuring more than 200 artists of Mangalurean heritage from across the globe.

The programme brings together a diverse range of artistic disciplines, including Western classical music, polyphony choir, opera, ballet, Bharatanatyam, theatre and contemporary performances.

The production features approximately 60 choir members, 12 soloists, 30 junior vocalists, 30 musicians, 15 drummers, 10 comperes and 60 dancers, creating an ambitious ensemble designed to deliver an unforgettable experience.

A Star-Studded Musical Line-Up

The concert features an impressive group of singers, musicians and performers.

Featured vocalists include Vivian Poocha, Munita Veigas Rao, Correin Rasquinha, Pallavi Prabhu, Shilpa Cutinha, Carl Joy, Luvjoy and Angela Almeida.

The musical ensemble includes Lionel D’Mello, Swithin Hartmann, Anston Rodrigues, Reuben Machado, Sumukh Acharya and Russell Rodrigues.

The evening will also feature performers including Remona Pereira, Gavin Rodrigues and Rhianna Lobo, while the event will be hosted by Ramona Mathias, Melita Sequeira and Hera Pinto.

Shilpa Cutinha to Perform

One of the featured voices of the evening is acclaimed Mangalurean singer Shilpa Cutinha, who brings decades of experience across Konkani, Kannada, Hindi and devotional music.
