For Season 6, Fishing Cactus is raising the musical stakes by bringing Godgodo to Mangaluru for the first time.

The arrival of Godgodo adds a fresh dimension to the Fiesta's musical identity and gives audiences another reason to look forward to November 7.

The announcement also reinforces what has become a defining feature of Konkan Fiesta: bringing performers and entertainment experiences to Mangaluru that create a sense of occasion.

KONKAN FIESTA: A JOURNEY THAT BEGAN IN 2018

Konkan Fiesta's story goes back to December 2, 2018, when the first edition was held at Mangalore Hills, Bondel.

The inaugural Fiesta was conceived as a celebration bringing dance, music and food together under one roof, while also supporting a social cause. The event was organised by Hera Pinto in association with Club Mantra and was held with the motto "Creating good fun for betterment."

SEASON 2 — KONKAN FIESTA 2K20

The second edition, branded Konkan Fiesta 2K20, was held on 22 February 2020 at City Beach, Bolar, from 5 PM onwards.

The second season significantly expanded the entertainment profile of the Fiesta.

Its biggest attraction was legendary Goan singer Lorna, popularly known as the "Nightingale of Goa." She was joined by Mangaluru's Sea Seven band, DJ Jude, DJ Cletus and MC Lavita Menezes.

The event continued the Fiesta's combination of entertainment and social responsibility. A portion of the proceeds was donated through the In5nity Foundation to support children battling cancer.

Following the event, reports noted that Lorna's performance became one of the major highlights, with audiences dancing to her performance. Sea Seven, DJ Jude and DJ Cletus also entertained the crowd. The event raised ₹50,000, which was handed over to the In5nity Foundation.

The entertainment lineup featured Mark Revlon as headliner, with MC Privi and VJ Dixon hosting the show. Joel Attur and his band, along with featured artists, performed while DJ Sujay handled the DJ segment.

The fourth season also featured performances by children from Riya Foundation and a special 30-minute performance by students of Musically by Munita.

Even rain could not stop the celebration. A brief hour of rain became part of the experience, with the audience continuing to dance and enjoy the evening.
