Mangaluru, February 2026 — After 12 years since the success of his landmark 2014 album Tuje Khatir, Emcee Royston Pinto has made a much-awaited comeback with a brand-new Konkani love song titled “Tuzo Mog Korunk.”

Royston first rose to prominence with Tuje Khatir, an album that gifted Konkani music lovers evergreen tracks like Raya, Pavshilo Mog, Kaiser Asai, and the title track Tuje Khatir. The album cemented his place as a strong melodic voice in modern Konkani music.

Beyond his debut success, Royston has contributed significantly to the industry as a composer and lyricist. He is the composer of the widely loved romantic song Tu Zai Maka and recently gained attention as co-lyricist of the hit Baila Bayamma, further strengthening his creative credentials.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when live events came to a standstill, Royston turned adversity into creativity through the Back to Life – Konkani Originals initiative. Collaborating with Prajoth D'sa, Ashwin D'Costa, and Rosh Fernandes, he released original tracks such as Maka Mog Zala, Fanthem Zala, and The Porbu Song, keeping the Konkani music spirit alive during lockdown.

Now in 2026, Royston returns with “Tuzo Mog Korunk,” a romantic number infused with fresh contemporary vibes while retaining the emotional depth characteristic of his earlier work. The song’s music has been composed by Rosh Fernandes, whose modern production style adds a new sonic texture to Royston’s expressive vocals.

Industry watchers describe Tuzo Mog Korunk as a refreshing addition to the Konkani love-song catalogue — a track that bridges nostalgia with a renewed creative energy. For fans who grew up listening to Tuje Khatir, this release feels like a full-circle moment, reaffirming Royston Pinto’s enduring influence in Konkani music.
